Active media projects in the Museum

Here they can edit the major newspapers of their country, their own personal headlines and make themselves the main subject of the story – with their own portrait on the front page. In just a few simple steps the visitor can create his or her very own high quality newspaper which can be printed in large format. The newspaper production starts with an exclusive photo shoot from within the green screen studio, where the visitor can be pictured in different digital scenery. Afterwards the individual front page can be arranged from within the newspaper editor: Headlines and Articles can be written and photos placed in the users own layout.Using the software is quite simple. Especially adapted to the needs of amateurs the interface guides the user step by step through the production process. There is absolutely no knowledge of text-or image-editing programs necessary.
Editorial office – multiple user solution
School groups visiting museums can work on their own newspaper which provides an active access to all themes of the exhibition. The students turn from spectators into actors. The young reporters can document their discoveries with digital cameras and then on to the newspaper page. For larger groups, scienceintermedia provides an arbitrarily extensible multi-user solution.
In the twinkling of an eye a unique souvenir is created making the museum visit a memorable experience. Optionally, the station can be equipped with a mail application that will allow the user to send the finished newspaper pages to which ever email address they choose.
