Germany’s largest science center opens its doors
On the 31st of March it was finally time: after more than four years of planning and development, the new experimenta Heilbronn opened its doors to visitors for the first time. In the previous week, we attended the opening ceremony hosted by Winfried Kretschmann, the Minister President of the state of Baden-Württemberg, and we got a first impression of Germany’s largest science center. Colossal!
Covering an area of more than 25,000 square meters, experimenta offers hundreds of natural science exhibits, various creative studios, and a Science Dome. Starting in May 2019, the experimenta Forum, developed by scienceintermedia, will offer a novel platform for exchange and dialogue on science and technology, with many exciting interactive stations. Stay tuned!
